TEAMPOWER® ensures the total legality of its operations and takes legal responsibility for its activities, ensuring respect for the criteria required by the competent bodies of each country.

It holds Operating Licence no. 119/1993, under the name of SPT – Empresa de Trabalho Temporário, SA, issued by the Institute of Employment and Vocational Training (IEFP), subordinate to the Portuguese Ministry of Labour and Social Solidarity.

TEAMPOWER® complies with all the legal obligations required to operate in the sector of recruitment, selection and temporary placement in Europe and other continents.

TEAMPOWER® is also recognised by the Provider (Mediator) of Corporate Ethics and Temporary Work, whose mission is to defend tempo­rary staff’s rights and cooperate with public entities to enforce respect for corporate ethics.

In 2012 we were given special recognition in a joint initiative of the ACT – Authority for the Working Conditions (a body of the Ministry of Labour and Social Solidarity, which is responsible for overseeing working conditions) and APESPE, as an example of good practices in providing and welcoming temporary workers.

TEAMPOWER® is also a signatory of the Code of Ethics of APESPE, the Code of Good Conducts of CIETT and the Code of ethics in Trade and Services of CCP (Portuguese Trade and Services Confederation)

Specific Framework Of The Temporary Work

In Europe
Staff placement operations within the EU are authorised by EU law, according to the specific legislation currently in place and each country’s legal framework.

Directive 96/71/EC of the European Parliament and of the Coun­cil of 16 December 1996 concerning the posting of workers in the framework of the provision of services, and Directive 2008/104/ EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 19 Novem­ber 2008 on temporary agency work.
